Our Journey, One Ride at a Time..
It all started with a suitcase and a trip to Thailand.
It then blossomed into various trips all over the world, and our family continued to grow.
Now, we’ve visited 5 continents, various countries, and countless cities.
We’ve experienced so many things along the way, so we decided to make a blog about it.
Our itineraries reflected our different interests and personalities – shopping & taking pictures for Mom, discovering new food and visiting bookstores for me, seeing beautiful views for Sophia, and any playground for my youngest sister, Andrea 😊.
We did museum tours (learning about the history of the country and art appreciation) but the things that we remembered the most were the activities. Being a gondolier in Venice (easier than it looks), sushi-making on the Caribbean cruise, dressing up as geisha in Japan (choosing kimonos was fun), singing in the Abba Museum at Stockholm, and a 3 hour hike at Mannlichen (which took longer than that because of pictures).
The food was (even more) exciting, we loved the gourmet food at top restaurants like Noma and Relae in Copenhagen or Steirereck in Vienna, but we also loved the fries in McDonalds (a good comfort snack), the BBQ at the local market in Morocco, and Korean Fried Chicken in Dingdong (the only Korean restaurant in the Old Town of Dubrovnik; very good, highly recommended).
To keep everyone safe (and sane), Mom and Dad have 5 rules for us whenever we travel.
- Listen to Mom & Dad.
- No arguing. (in place because of the constant fighting me and my sister do)
- No unnecessary crying. (applies more to Andrea than me and Sophia)
- Smile when taking pictures (applies to all)
- When in doubt, follow rule No. 1.
Thanks for reading this page, and I hope you choose to follow our adventures!
